I love this place so much! There are many cafes in the area but not many make an on-point specialty coffee using intelligentsia. The GM here is awesome, baristas are skilled, staff is genuine, and there’s pretty much always a place to sit with large in and outdoor seating areas.

I'm not from Boston but I now have to come here often for kids' sports, collaborations at local universities, and a kid in college. So I'm always looking for good places to hang out, drink coffee, and work. This place is small, great vibe, locally owned (as far as I their website says!), and the food is great. I had the traditional breakfast egg and cheese (with some spinach) on a focaccia and it was great. Traditional macchiato with a nice dense micro-foam. Espresso flavor came through the bit of foamed milk beautifully. What else could I want? I read all the negative reviews and it looked to me like a bunch of bots (e.g. several in a row with no comments just 1star for food, service and atmosphere) or just generally negative people with little understanding of good food or coffee. Clearly made no effort to resolve whatever problem they had with the server. Some say it is pricey but didn't seem that high to me. It is a small, independent shop with delicious hand-made food and drinks -- not a microwaved 'egg pocket' from Starsucks or whatever. If you want cheep, go to a nasty donut chain or fast food dive... and get what you pay for.

Great spot for a coffee, lunch, and some coworking! Lots of seating and tasty pastries to get some productivity in! Check out the cool bank safe coworking space in the back and be sure to try the Middlesex sandwich on focaccia

Really beautiful space with lots of seating. Food has lots of vegetarian options, albeit a little pricey. Beautiful latte art! Maybe not the top espresso in town, but still quite good.

Amazing place. Sticky cinnamon was delicious and the bacon and avocado sandwich absolutely worth. The salon bagel was great as well. If you go in spring they have a very nice terrace.

I was staying in the area while visiting Boston and am glad I found this gem. The coffee was good and the breakfast burrito was fresh and home-made. The cafe is a great space to work in and I loved all the local art on display.

Crazy busy, but a phenomenal tea collection! They have Spirit and Kilogram teas. I got to try two, and they were both delicious!!! Ramp access makes it accessible. Everyone was friendly and service was efficient.

- Coffee was good quality - I tried a bagel and cream cheese and found it to be above average. Highly recommend - Good variety of seating indoor and outdoor - Free WiFi; good place to sit and do work
